You Never Know! Anything Goes!

The first match for male quarterfinals was between Roger Federer and Ivo Karlovic. Karlovic is known for his killer serve and everybody assumed that he’ll give Federer a hard time. But as it turns out, it was easy for Federer and won 6-3 7-5 7-6.  This would be Federer’s 21st straight Grand Slam semifinal. If he’ll win the 2009 Wimbledon title, this will make him the greatest Grand Slam winner in tennis history, exceeding Pete Sampras’ records.

The second match was between Novak Djokovic and Tommy Hass. Haas won with the score of 7-5 7-6 4-6 6-3 and he’ll face Federer in the semi-finals.

Andy Murray wins his Wimbledon semi-finals for the first time. He won against the former world number one Juan Carlos Ferrero 7-5 6-3 6-2 points.

The final match was Andy Roddick taking on Lleyton Hewitt with 6-3 6-7 7-6 6-4 4-6 points.
