Academy of Country Music Awards 2010 Winners

The 45th Annual Academy of Country Music Awards was held on Sunday, April 18, 2010 at 5pm PT at the MGM Grand Garden Arena, Las Vegas and was once again hosted by Reba McEntire.

Leading this year’s nominations is Lady Antebellum with 7 nods, followed by Miranda Lambert and Carrie Underwood with six nominations and Taylor Swift with five. Moreover, Kenny Chesney, Brad Paisley and Zac Brown Band each received 4 nods.

The battle between Carrie Underwood and Taylor Swift for the Entertainer of the Year award was intense. After the votes have been cast, it was Carrie Underwood who took home the trophy, leaving Swift empty handed.
