I haven’t watched American Idol’s Season 8 since it started. But last night, despite of my busy schedule, I was able to do so. The remaining contestants are Matt Giraud, 23 years old from Kalamazoo, MI, Lil Rounds, 23 years old from Memphis, TN, Kris Allen, 23 years old from Conway, AR, Danny Gokey, 28 years old from Milwaukee, WI, Adam Lambert, 26 years old from Los Angeles, CA, Anoop Desai, 21 years old from Chapel Hill, NC, and Allison Iraheta, 16 years old from Los Angeles, CA.

I watched the contestants show off their talents and the thing that caught my attention was Kris Allen’s performance. He sang “Falling Slowly” by Glen Hansard and Marketa Irglova which is a song in Once movie. It’s not a popular song at all. I only came to know it when the artists won an Oscar Award for Best Original Song way back in 2007 which is a soundtrack in “Once” movie. America is not familiar of it and Kris sure is risky. But hey, he sure knows what he was doing. He got a lot of compliments from Kara and the audience as well. Never mind Randy. It was so beautiful and I think his performance was awesome.
