Eminem “Despicable” Released Online, “Not Afraid” Single and “Recovery” Album
Eminem seldom uses his twitter account but yesterday he tweeted a message “I’m ‘Not Afraid’”. What does he mean by that? His fans and followers immediately assumed that Not Afraid could be Em’s first single off his upcoming album Recovery. According to Shade 45′s website, “Not Afraid” will premiere Thursday on Shade 45, Eminem’s Sirius/XM Satellite Radio channel.
But while we all wait for the first official single from his upcoming album, a new freestyle from Eminem over Drake and Lloyd Banks beats just surfaced. This track is called “Despicable,” which premiered this afternoon on RapRadar.com.
Despicable is a freestyle by Eminem over the instrumentals to Drake’s Over and Lloyd Banks’ Beamer, Benz, Or Bentley (feat. Juelz Santana) and it sounds like he’s challenging other rappers out there and to make known that Slim is back. “Ain’t nothin’ but a whole lot of suckin’ goin’ on in rap, yeah but I’m home,” he rapped. “Bad to the bone, back in the zone… you don’t wanna go egging him on.” And do we hear a Duffy Duck-ish rap at the end of the song? To listen to the whole track, you can stream it on RapRadar.com and we can say that it’s pretty neat.
We are only a couple more days away from hearing Eminem’s first official single “Not Afraid” that will debut on Thursday at 10 a.m. during “The Morning After” on Shade 45 with host Angela Yee and his Recovery album due in stores June 22nd.
