The world’s first 4th dimensional roller coaster, X2. This unique steel roller coaster is now operating and it is one of the most popular rides at Six Flags Magic Mountain in Valencia, California. It first opened in January 2002, then known as X, and it is the last roller coaster built by Arrow Dynamics. After it was closed for renovation and upgrade on December 2007, we got the X2 (pronounced as X-two).
X2 was repainted and awesome innovative state-of-the-art visual, audio and sensory effects were added like fire, cool zone and fog effects to thrill you even more. The audio includes the song by The Doors, Rage Against the Machine and The Beastie Boys. The new trains are now lighter and with less downtime. The seats are great! Each seat can rotate separately for 360 degrees backwards or forward that will give you a head-first, face down drop. With the highest point of 190 feet and with the maximum speed of 76 mph (122 km/h), the ride will take 2 and a half minute.
X2 will give you an extreme, twist and turns, one-of-a-kind roller coaster ride you haven’t experienced before.
