Paramount Pictures has revealed the first hi-resolution version of Iron Man 2 poster through ComingSoon.net/SuperHeroHype. War Machine made his grand debut as he stand side-by-side with Iron Man, Marvel’s ultimate team-up. Our hero Iron Man in front wearing his red-and-gold armor backed by the silvery militarized War Machine armor as if to say, we are ready to kick Whiplash and some other villain’s ass and save the world as a team.

Iron Man 2 is directed by Jon Favreau and stars Robert Downey Jr. as Tony Stark / Iron Man, Gwyneth Paltrow as Miss Pepper Potts, Don Cheadle as Lt. Colonel James “Rhodey” Rhodes / War Machine, Jon Favreau as Happy Hogan, Mickey Rourke as Ivan Vanko or the villain Whiplash, Sam Rockwell as Justin Hammer, Samuel L. Jackson as as Nick Fury, and the sexy Scarlett Johansson as Natasha Romanoff / Black Widow.

Sorry, no official trailer has been released yet but we’ll get a glimpse of it on Downey’s upcoming Sherlock Holmes movie. “Iron Man 2″ will hit the big screen on May 7, 2010.
