Macaulay Culkin and Mila Kunis Split

Macaulay Culkin is probably one of the 43 million people who changed their relationship status to “single” on Facebook in 2010.

The Home Alone star was indeed home and spent his holidays alone and but there were no bad guys to rob him. Culkin has split from his girlfriend of eight years, actress Mila Kunis.

Kunis’ rep confirms that she and Culkin have gone their separate ways. “The split was amicable, and they remain close friends,” her rep said. Yeah, that’s what they always say.

Culkin, 30, and Kunis, 27, started dating Culkin in 2002 when she starred as the snobby “Jackie” character in “That ’70s Show.” A source said the couple split last December 2010 but has kept it low-key while Kunis promotes her new movie, “Black Swan”.

Kunis has been open about her fear of settling down with Culkin.  She told BlackBook in December 2009 that the prospect of marriage didn’t appeal to her.

“Not to say that I don’t believe in it, but it’s just not something that’s important to me,” Kunis said of tying the knot. “But I will have children. I’m too selfish to have them now, but when I do, I don’t feel like I need to be married. I need to have a person in my life who will care for me and my children — nothing else.”
