Famous celebrity blogger Perez Hilton was allegedly assaulted by Will.i.am of the Black Eyed Peas and his security guards. He tweeted it on his twitter account after midnight of Sunday, June 21, 2009.

His tweets were:

– I’m in shock. I need the police ASAP. Please come to the SoHo Metropolitan Hotel now. Please.

– I was assaulted by Will.I.Am of the Black Eyed Peas and his security guards. I am bleeding. Please, I need to file a police report. No joke.

– Still waiting for the police. The bleeding has stopped. I need to document this. Please, can the police come to the SoHo Met Hotel.

– I spoke to my lawyer. I really need to talk to the authorities. Please come to the SoHo Met Hotel. Have called the police. Need them here.

– The Toronto police are here now. Thank you. Please stop calling them.

– Thank u all from the bottom of my heart for ur concern. The police are investigating the assault now. I did the right thing by reporting it.

Will.i.am also released a video explaining what had happened. He started it off by saying that they all had a good night in Toronto, Canada. They performed Boom Boom Pow in the MuchMusic Awards and won “Best International group”.

At the after party, Fergie approached Perez and asked “Hey, do you have a problem with me?”. Perez said, “No. I just don’t like your record.”. Will.i.am said it’s cool because everybody is entitled to their own opinion.

But for Will.i.am, what Perez did was plainly rude. He said further that it was one thing to say your opinion but one thing to just be rude especially when a person is coming really humble and it doesn’t give him the authority to be just rude to anybody.

Fergie confided and told him what had happened. She was so uncomfortable they left the club. They then went to another club and saw Perez there again. This time, Will.i.am approached Perez. He asked Perez not be rude with their group on his website and he doesn’t have to be disrespectful. Perez allegedly said that he doesn’t respect him. Will.i.am said he respects him nonetheless because that is how he was raised.

After he walks away, Perez said, according to Will.i.am, and in front of everybody and every fans, “You’re a fa@$*t Will.i.am!”. Then one fan got all crazy, jumps in and hit Perez Hilton. He then added that it’s not THAT serious. It simply shows how crazy things can get. It’s all music and opinion and they make a living out of it which is cool.

“Tonight was a good night and kinda crazy. I’m on my way to London. Peace! ” was Will.i.am’s last words in the video.
