A man was shot at Skyline College in San Bruno, California. The campus has been locked down and an emergency notification was posted on the school’s website while police investigate the scene.
Emergency Notification: We have had a shooting on campus and are now in lockdown. Please shelter in place, away from windows, with doors shut until further notice. We sent an emergency text message to all students. Wednesday evening classes have been cancelled.
“We are trying to get everyone safe on campus,” wrote Lori Adrian, Vice President of Student Services, in a statement to The Skyline View.
The shooting took place at approximately 1:30 p.m. CT. in Lot 7 parking lot campus of the college campus, near the community college’s science building, in San Bruno, California. The unidentified male victim was shot in the buttocks and was taken to a hospital but no further information was released about his condition. The school was locked down until the SWAT team escorted the students out.
According to KTVU.com, some witnesses saw the victim running into the school’s learning center, bleeding and said that he got shot. Also, three male suspects run from the parking lot to the main campus, one holding a gun and dressed in a black hooded sweatshirt. The police are still searching for a gunman.
