Not only hundreds but hundreds of thousands of people are feared to be dead after an overwhelming 7.0 magnitude earthquake hit Haiti Tuesday, Haiti’s prime minister told CNN today.

A very powerful earthquake has hit the Haiti in the Caribbean on Tuesday, just before 5 p.m. Eastern time. It centered about 10 miles (15 kilometers) west of the capital of Port-au-Prince and news report says a hospital and a three-storey building have collapsed.
